Bran qualified as a dental surgeon in 1985 from the University of Sheffield. He has over 35 years of experience as a dentist and is dedicated to providing ethical and compassionate care to his patients. He enjoys dentistry and believes prevention is preferable to cure. Every patient is treated with kindness and gentleness so that a visit to the dentist is relaxed and patients are happy when returning for their regular preventive visits. Bran's special interest is in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

 

For ten years after qualifying Bran gained a broad range of experience as an associate in practices in Sheffield, Cornwall and London. In 1995 he became a partner at 30 Kneesworth Street and, in 2004, he became practice principal and owner.

In his spare time, Bran enjoys mountain biking and gardening.

Dr Jemina Vekaria, BDS

Dr Jemina Vekaria graduated from the University of Bristol Dental School in 2008 where she was awarded a prize for her dental elective project. Jemina worked as a Senior House Officer in Luton and Dunstable Hospital where she gained extensive experience in extractions and minor oral surgery. She has since worked in busy NHS and private practices.

Jemina is committed to continued learning and passionate about providing the best care for her patients. She works closely with nervous patients to put them at ease with a calm, friendly approach that is adapted for each patient's concerns. She specialises in aesthetic dentistry with a particular focus on anterior white fillings and bespoke smile design using Invisalign.

Outside of dentistry she enjoys reading and walking her dog.​

Elaine Pingerna

Elaine has been interested in dentistry from an early age and believes everyone deserves a healthy smile that makes them feel confident. Her wealth of experience since her graduation from Guy's Dental Hospital in 1993 with the Hu Friedy Prize for outstanding clinical skills, has equipped her to deliver high standards of clinical care and patient management with special care for those patients with dental phobia or anxiety around dental procedures. Elaine has a gentle and caring approach to delivering dentistry and is passionate about her personal development and continuing education.

Elaine enjoys running and cycle rides in the great outdoors, and travelling to destinations  to sample local cuisines.

Lauren Asprey​

Lauren joined The Royston Dental Practice in February 2024. As Clinical Administrator, she is the anchor of our practice, organising staff and patients, anticipating everyone's needs and doing it with a smile. 

Lauren has worked as a Receptionist and a Dental Nurse prior to becoming our Clinical Administrator. . She is a reassuring voice on the phone and strives to help all our patients feel happy and comfortable coming for their visits.

In her spare time Lauren enjoys running, and spending time with her family.

Anne Milijic 

Office Manager​

 

Anne  wants all of our patients to look forward to seeing us as much as we look forward to seeing them. She hopes everyone who visits the practice feels comfortable, safe and able to voice their requirements or worries in a supportive atmosphere. She works behind the scenes as Office Manager to make sure our policies and procedures reflect our ethos of patient-centred care delivered with compassion. Running monthly meetings and training helps the staff to keep up to date, stay compliant and share experiences that make us a better team,

Out of work hours, Anne enjoys walking, cycling, swimming, city breaks and visiting museums.
